Compasses
Ritchie Compasses (USA) is the world leader in marine compasses. They began in 1850 and have won many awards for design and performance. A very old Ritchie compass with a floating dial is exhibited in the Albert Museum of Science and Industry in England, displayed along with a collection of nautical instruments created by Lord Kelvin.
